Home Loan Eligibility Calculator
Check how much home loan you can get from your monthly income and existing EMIs, the property budget it gives you and the down payment needed.
Banks look at how much of your monthly income can safely go to EMIs. This share is called FOIR (fixed obligation to income ratio); most banks allow 40–60%. Your existing EMIs are subtracted first, and the rest decides the maximum EMI and therefore the loan amount at the current interest rate and tenure.
Banks usually fund up to 75–90% of the property value, so you still need a down payment plus stamp duty and registration.
